White House Christmas Card Snubs Christmas

The 2005 Christmas card from the White House simply wishes the recipients a Happy Holiday Season. President Bush should be ashamed of himself for letting this card go out. If people are so offended by Christmas, they just should not acknowledge the celebration.

Kwanzaa is a ridiculous made up holiday, but I don’t send out cards to everyone wishing them a "Happy African Harvest Season." I don’t like Kwanzaa, so I just ignore it. That’s what the Bush Administration should do. If they don’t like Christmas, they just shouldn’t mention it.

Furthermore, it is wasteful to spend tax dollars to send 1.4 million cards that basically have no meaning. Why doesn’t the White House just send out cards out in a few months wishing everyone a Merry Spring?

It is true that this politically correct foolishness has been going on at the White House for over decade, but shouldn't Bush be the President to stand up and make a change? If President Bush doesn't have the courage to reverse this stupid trend of whiting out Christmas, then what President will?

Oh, and by the way, Merry Christmas!
